In Plenary, I contributed to a short debate brought forward by my colleague Joel James on people with hearing loss in Wales.
There is a lack of services in NHS Wales to provide equal support to people with hearing loss. At a GP surgery, it is likely a person with hearing loss will have to considerably longer to see a doctor as many surgeries don't have interpreters or someone who is routinely trained in sign language. This is detrimental to an individuals health and wellbeing, and the Welsh Government must do more to address these issues to create a more equal Wales.
