Dr Altaf Hussain MS has met with representatives from the National Allergy Strategy Group (NASG) to discuss the development of the forthcoming UK National Allergy Strategy (2025–2035) — a comprehensive plan aimed at improving allergy services, education, and support for patients across the country.
During the meeting, Dr. Hussain emphasised the importance of ensuring equitable access to allergy diagnosis and treatment within the NHS, as well as strengthening public awareness and professional training to meet the growing challenges of allergic disease.

The National Allergy Strategy Group is a coalition of leading professional and patient organisations, including the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and Allergy UK. The group’s mission is to strengthen NHS allergy services, enhance professional training, and improve outcomes for people living with allergies.
